KiCad® in your browser: source code
The board editors on faezor.ai are KiCad® 10.0.6's own PCB and schematic editors, compiled to WebAssembly by the PCBJam port. KiCad and the port are free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3 (GPL-3.0). This page is our offer of the complete corresponding source of the build this site runs.
What we built
- PCBJam at commit
89cef1c5d6e69cc181f1f6e577c982eb8c2ad267, with its submodules at the commits that commit pins:kicad:86aa3a587f73(PCBJam/kicad-source-mirror)wxwidgets:dcd824f40f95(PCBJam/wxWidgets)
- No patches of ours: the build is the pinned commit as it is.
- Build: PCBJam's default build (-O1), Emscripten 6.0.6, by kicad-web/build.sh and Dockerfile as of faezor/pcb-workbench 97a4371 (no patch step yet), on a BuildKit builder, 2026-10-09. The scripts that drove it:
BUILD.txtDockerfilebuild.sh
How to get it
git clone https://github.com/PCBJam/pcbjam.git && cd pcbjam && git checkout 89cef1c5d6e69cc181f1f6e577c982eb8c2ad267 && git submodule update --init --recursive kicad wxwidgets, then build with the scripts above. We keep our own copy of this source as well: if any
of it is ever not reachable there, write to info@faezor.ai and we send it
to you, for as long as we serve this build.
The rest of this site (our own pages and code) is a separate program: it loads KiCad's files and talks to them through the page; it is not part of KiCad.
